Christin is a Southern genre writer with a love for all things fantasy, sci-fi, and the just plain weird. After growing up gay and Arab-American in a town convinced President Obama was the Anti-Christ, the outsider perspective became a connecting thread throughout Christin’s work.
Christin began in the festival world, helping to start and program the first LGBT Film Festival in her hometown of Pensacola, FL. She later went on to the Austin Film Festival as an Assistant Programmer and Script Reader.
After an ill-timed move to LA in March of 2020, Christin wrote scripts and managed a team of writers for a mobile game. She has written across the media spectrum including published short stories, poetry, and non-fiction in magazines like Broccoli, December, and Redwoods.
Previously, she wrote and produced the eight-episode audio drama When Angels Visit Armadillo, which was an Austin Film Festival Semifinalist. Her pilot, The Visitation, also earned her a spot in the Sundance Episodic Lab. Christin is the current Script Coordinator and former Showrunner’s Assistant on Amazon Prime’s The Mighty Nein at Titmouse Animation. She lives in Los Angeles.
